the Mission

dekh zindaan se paar rang e chaman josh e bahaar raqs karna hii hai to phir paanv kii zanjir na dekh

(Beyond the walls of prison look at the colors and excitement of spring If you have to dance then forget the shackles tied to your feet)

Off late a “Ladakh Bike Trip” has become a commodity, which is being conceived, sold & bought just like any other item that you would buy in a market. Internet and the social media influencers have turned it into a commodity that’s hollow from the inside sans any values. It has become a status symbol rather than being a tool to soothe the aching human soul. In the last 13 years, it has transformed for the bad; it’s quite unfortunate to see this soulful journey becoming a hollow status symbol. I started this article with those lines from a famous Persian poem because starting this year, it’s time to “UP

THE GAME”; it’s time to get free from shackles of falsehood that has poisoned our thought process. It’s time for a soulful journey; it’s time to create an immortal happy memory.

the Journey

Our ride groups are of 10 – 15 bikes, with just about 15 – 20 participants, handling groups since the last 13 years we have come to a conclusion that anything beyond this creates chaos, the fun gets lost

the Team

I have built this team over a period of time by not training them theoretically, but by keeping them along with me as I have hosted groups for the last 14 years and showing them how things need to be handled in a human way and not in a mechanical manner. This is the most important intangible aspect which is our specialty. It’s something which others don’t bother to take care off; to us it’s thecore of our itinerary design process. People are “THE MOST IMPORTANT” part of a happy memory

the Machine

You will ride new well maintained RE Himalayan BS6 bikes. It’s something you will cherish while riding. You don’t want a machine which breaks down every few kilometers while riding.

the Gear

Starting with this season we are setting up new standards for protective gear, all the below mentioned gear are procured by HUSBUR in-house, we are not getting on rental from outside:

  • Helmets: We provide Dot & CE certified professional rally helmets with polycarbonate visor
  • Knee & Elbow Protector: We give you the best brand of Knee & Elbow protectors

the Stay

Talking about hospitality, we have created a niche for ourselves in the industry for our choice of hotel & food. To me, a place of stay has to exude homeliness, at the end of the day what you cherish most is a neat, clean room with a homely feel and good food.

the Food

The way to a man’s heart is through the stomach, they say. True that; I could not disagree with this saying. This is one aspect where we have created new benchmarks. Years ago we started a unique
concept called “CAR PANTRY”; so what’s this? We have converted the dickey of our support car into a mini pantry where you have water bottles, soft beverages, dry fruits, fresh fruits, farsan, biscuits etc. this is yours to enjoy during the course of the ride.”CAR PANTRY”: Our unique concept with water, beverages, fruits, biscuits, and more, to win hearts through the stomach.

Caution Deposit

Rs.10,000/- is to be deposited as a fully refundable caution deposit, damages if any to the bike or riding gear will be deducted from this deposit at the end of the trip, the balance will be refunded back
